school...

so i got my schedule and other shit from school today.

the first thing was the transcript. i still have a 3.3 for my cumulative. its good, but it could be way better.

it really annoyed me how they included this thing about how i wasn't recommended for AP US History. My teacher barely taught during the time I had American Govt. I mean, i got 100's on everything because the woman who was student teaching didn't want to hurt our feelings. But i actually knew the shit. And i was hoping i would get mr kilbourne (i think) for children's lit, but i think i have a woman from the writing center (if i remember correctly).

then my schedule!

1st Semester:
Per. 1: English - Carleton
Per. 2: Health - Santangeli
Per. 3: PreCalc - Devoto
Per. 4: Lab (day 1)/ Study Hall
Per. 5: Physics - Schneider [I really wish Soffa hadn't left :( ]
Per. 6: Study Hall
Per. 7: AP US History - Garamella
Per. 8: Honors French - Nocturne

2nd Semester:
Per. 1: Stat/ Prob - Estes
Per. 2: Children's Lit - Horton
Per. 3: PreCalc - Devoto
Per. 4: Lab (day 1)/ Study Hall
Per. 5: Physics - Schneider
Per. 6: Study Hall
Per. 7: AP US History - Garamella
Per. 8: Honors French - Nocturne

DO THIS

JUST A REMINDER....
At the end of this month, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.... To prevent this, you have to put your cell phone number on the National Do Not Call List.

You can do this by calling the following number from the phone you want to protect:
888-382-1222

You can also do it on the National Do Not Call website at:
 http://www.donotcall.gov/

Doing this will block your number for five (5) years.

You will help others by passing this message on to others.

This is really cool

I got this from my Dad...

be sure NOT to read ahead. the end is awesome, it worked for me.

Don't tell me your age; you  probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but the Hershey Man will know!

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE  MATH

This is pretty interesting.  After you're done, can you see how it works?

DON'T  CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute.
Work this out as you read ...
Be sure you don't read the bottom  until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time  things - at least in my opinion.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week  that you would like to have chocolate
(more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3.  Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the  calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year  add 1756 ....
If you haven't, add 1755.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

6. Now subtract the  four digit year that you were born

You should have a three digit  number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many  times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it  is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2006) IT WILL EVER  WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE  IT LASTS.

random stuff

this is a random entry, but whatever.

so i was playing lacrosse in my backyard yesterday, and the ball hit a clump of daffodils. i then realized how much i love daffodils. they just make me SOOOO happy. they symbolize the start of spring for me and i think they are one of the most beautiful flowers. they're very common, but thats what i love. anybody in redding, or easton cuase you might have gone past it: do you know that huge field of daffodils on cross highway? i love that field. its just an endless expanse of daffodils.

on the subject of plants that make me happy, i love forsithya. i love having it EVERYWHERE, and i mean EvERYWHERE. the bright yellow is jsut amazing. i lvoe how one day, you just realize it has bloomed and like everywhere in town it has bloomed.

i love forsithya and daffodils differently though. i love how there are jsut random, small patches of daffodils everywhere (that daffodil field is the exception). but i love how forsithya is almost ravenous, it's everywhere.

i have this real desire to go to some place where they sell plants. not like a florist, i jsut cant think of the word. i always go with my mom to those thngs and i really want to get in better standing with her.

aha! i know what i can get her for her birthday...i can buy her seeds or flowers or something that she can plant. it sounds weird, but she loves gardening. she works so hard on our garden. at our old house we had so many gardens and they were all so beautiful.

im getting choked up while im writing about my mom. i love her so much.

on a completely different note, has anybody ever seen the movie "Poseidon"? its about a cruise ship that turtles...it completely flips over. there's a new movie coming out called it. but there was an older one from the '70s. ahs anybody ever seen that. i saw that when i was younger, and i remember it really vividly.

on another completely differnt note: after high school/ in college, all of us have to go to europe. either for a semester abroad or during a summer. it wouuld be so awesome.
